Verification of Long Life (Accelerated Life Test)
Reliability insures that the TVSS will perform
without aging prematurely and will be just as effective 10 years down
the road as the day you put the unit in.
Accelerated Life
Test
13KV, 1.2/50 µsec open circuit, 5.5KA, 8/20
µsec, short circuit, 100 surge cycles, 6 sec. apart. No failure or arcing
allowed.
Test Cycle: Starting
with 2 cycles of 110 VAC = RMS @ 60Hz followed by on cycle of 220 VAC
= RMS @ 60Hz and ending with 2 cycles of 110 VAC = RMS @ 60Hz.
